Botanical Tuition Gallery

Having spent years painting botanical watercolours, it is a joy to spark children’s interest in this medium and enable them to engage with the subject by looking at the shapes, colours and beauty of the flowers. My mindfulness training is a plus in that it enables me to inspire the children’s sense of wonder by helping them really look and be in the moment fully. I am always amazed at the way in which children capture the essence and vitality of their botanical subject matter in their paintings, in incredible and unique ways.

I can offer one to one tuition, or teaching for small groups of children at my studio in Edinburgh.
