I help kids to make Art
Design your own outfit using exciting tartan fabrics, laces, sparkly gems, pom poms, ribbons, and feathers to decorate your figure. Fiona will take a head shot of each member of the family, superimpose the face onto a template figure ready for design and decoration.
Alternatively, have Fiona create a bespoke portrait of a family member or friend as a unique gift.
Fiona has created a mix of fun art activities for children in paint, collage and other exciting materials.
About me Fiona Mackechnie
Fiona Mackechnie graduated in Textile Design and has built life long experience internationally, working extensively with children of all ages, guiding them to develop their skills in creative design and decorative arts.
Her practice is founded on the belief that children have an innate ability to express themselves in a multiplicity of inventive and original ways. Fiona’s natural rapport with children coupled with her careful listening skills and her gentle encouragement enable her to provide them with a world of magic of their own making. These activities offer the children endless entertainment and fun, which builds a foundation for their future well being and creativity.
Fiona is based in Edinburgh and also travels around the world taking her art and design activities to families and children. Bespoke custom packages are offered in Edinburgh or internationally, one to one tuition, a group of children and for the entire family.
